Q. How was this letter obtained? (Click for large image of letter)
Dear Angie, hi. A researcher on canonical jurisdiction had written a lengthy piece on the subject. After its publication, he was contacted by a person in 2002 (from the southeastern US coast), who had saved this handwritten
letter of Bishop Thuc to Lefebrve, and presented it to the author of the article on jurisdiction. The handwriting and signature on the "Thuc to Lefebrve letter" (TTLL) was then thoroughly examined with known copies of other handwritten letters from
the Vietnamese bishop, and shown to be without a doubt authentic.
As an editor myself, it does occasionally occur, that when people read a piece - they will forward more information in the pursuit
of veritas. It is very clear that the existence of this important letter has been known by the Lefebrve church and the Sedevacantist church for quite some time. And both sects continually attempt to skew the facts about the heretical layman Lefebrve and, for that matter, the ever-unpredictable Thuc.
Their M.O: Tragically to their own (and more so than ever, in this digital world) others soul's ruinations - if their calculated disinformation and often outright lies fail, they
most tiredly always resort to some type of attempted calumny towards "the messenger" of good/factual prose. This was the key to the "success" of the Protestant Revolters and is the life-blood of what is so ignorantly and blasphemously
referred to currently, as the "Traditional Catholic Movement".
