The Papacy is the Means of Salvation - Sermon by Fr. UK
"The Papacy is the Means of Salvation"

A Sermon by Fr. UK, Priest of His Holiness, Gregory XVIII

Holy Christmas, Dec 25th, 2016 A.D., Grand Strand (Region) SC, USA

In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, Amen.

"And She shall bring forth a Son: and thou shall call his name JESUS. For he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done that it might be fulfilled which the Lord spoke by the prophet saying: "Behold a virgin shall be with child, and bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us" (St. Matthew 1:21-23).

Let us consider on this Holy Christmas Day the truth about the ties between the Incarnation of Our Lord, the Papacy and our salvation.

To say briefly, the Papacy is a wonderful blessed fruit of the Incarnation and is the most important means of salvation. Why? We can hold many hypotheses, but again to speak briefly - this is God's Will and this is God's plan.

Here are more words of the Incarnate God, and we should pay attention to these words: "You are my friends, if you do the things that I command you" (St. John 15:14).

The antonym of the word "friend" is the word "enemy". Those people who do the things that God commands, are friends of God. But on the contrary, those people who don't do the things that God commands, are the enemies of God.

One of God's commandments is the following: "And Jesus answering, said to Peter: Blessed art thou, Simon Peter Bar-Jona, because flesh and blood hath not revealed it to thee, but my Father who is in heaven. And I say to thee: that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven. And whatsoever thou shalt bind upon earth, it shall be bound also in heaven, and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth, it shall be loosed in heaven" (St. Matthew 16:17-19).

Also in the Gospel of St. John we read the words of Jesus Christ addressed to St. Peter: "Feed My lambs ... Feed My lambs ... Feed My sheep" (St. John 21:15-17). "Here Our Lord fulfils His promise (St. Matthew 16:17-19) by charging St. Peter with the superintendency of all His sheep, without exeption; and consequently of His whole flock, that is, of His own church" (Commentary in The Holy Bible, DOUAY-RHEIMS VERSION).

The Church of Christ which He did build upon St. Peter, is the body of Christ.

Being the body of Christ, the Church cannot contradict Its Head, i.e., Christ Himself.

Every word and every doctrine of the Church, i.e., body of Christ, is in full harmony with every word and every doctrine of Jesus Christ.

Behold a very important doctrine of the Church of Christ: "The Glorious Vatican Council in 1870 infallibly stated that St. Peter HAS (not will have), perpetual successors. In the noble work which the fathers of the early centuries of Christianity wrote to defend the doctrines of the Church against their assailants, they unanimously lay down this CLEAR PRINCIPLE, that such Doctrine is truly Catholic as has been believed in all places, at all times, and by all the faithful".

The Redemptorist priest Fr. Michael Mueller in 1880 A.D., said: "By this test of universality, antiquity, and consent the Church tries, especialy in Her general Counsils, all questions concerning Faith and Morals, CONDEMNS AND REJECTS ALL VARIATIONS FROM BELIEF, and thus always triumphs over heresy and infidelity".

Pope St. Stephen I (257 A.D.) says in a letter to the Church of Africa: "Let no innovations be introduced, but let that be observed which is handed down to us by tradition". And here it should be said, that Tradition, mentioned by Pope St. Stephen I, is handed down to us by God Himself. This means, that we must obey this Tradition. If someone does not obey this Tradition, he does not obey God Himself.

Thus, we must follow every doctrine of the perpetual successor of St. Peter, because he is the Vicar of Christ, and to obey him is the essential part of our salvation.

So, there is no salvation outside the Papacy, there is no Church outside the Papacy, there is no salvation outside the Church. The Church is where the Pope is.

Why is it in our time that the Devil very easily induces people to commit mortal sins?

Because people reject the perpetual successor of St. Peter, who is the Vicar of Christ, the Vicar of Son of God, the Vicar of the Incarnate God.

"And She shall bring forth a Son: and thou shall call his name JESUS. For he shall save his people from their sins" (St. Matthew 1:21). "You are my friends, if you do the things that I command you" (St. John 15:14).

So, let us continue to practice our true Faith in God's Incarnation, in the true perpetual successor of St. Peter, who is the Vicar of Christ. And this true Faith will continue to help us to be friends of Jesus, to be His people, and to be saved from our sins.

In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, Amen.

At the recent meeting of true Catholics in Italy there were many Baptisms and Confirmations. The PRC has heard multiple reports from Europeans that is was quite successful. Deo gratias!

Thank you to all who gave alms to support the True priest (who is in obedience to Pope Gregory XVIII) on this Italian meeting of the Underground Church.

It is glorious to finally see tiny rays of light breaking out from behind the dark stormy clouds of the false church. A gift ... to the faithful.

I am very interested in information regarding the upcoming North American meeting. With God's grace and if it is His will, hopefully I will be close enough to attend and receive the true sacraments for the first time in my life. Thank you.
