Uncompromising lovers
of the *Catholic Holy Mass, note:
In any serious inconvenience you are not obliged to attend Mass. This applied in normal times (the 1950's) for travelers (i.e. in another country, etc.,) but much more so today when a true *approbated
Mass is terribly difficult to find. The obligation to keep holy the Lord's Day, does not necessarily oblige Mass attendance in every instance, and certainly
is never imposed upon us "at any price." What is required of us is to perform some public act of piety, such as a visit to a holy shrine, or the recitation of the Rosary in a public place, or placing of flowers before a statue of our Lord or Our Lady, and to be focused primarily on the things of God, especially by not profaning His holy day by unnecessary servile
labor, etc.
"The devil has always attempted, by means of the heretics, to deprive the world
of the Mass,
making them precursors of the Anti-Christ, who, before anything else, will try to abolish and will actually abolish
the Holy Sacrament of the altar, as a punishment for the sins of men, according
to the
prediction of Daniel: "And strength was given him against the continual sacrifice' (Dan. 8:12)."
-St. Alphonsus Liguori, Doctor of the Church, "The Holy Eucharist".
"The revolt and separation must come…the Sacrifice shall cease and…the Son of Man shall hardly find faith on earth…All these passages are understood of the affliction which Antichrist shall cause
in the Church…But the Church… shall not fail, and shall be fed and preserved amidst the deserts and solitudes to which She shall retire, as the Scripture says, (Apoc. Ch. 12).'" -St. Francis De Sales, Doctor of the Church, "The Catholic
Controversy”.
Note: *revolt and separation from the True Lawful Pontiff
"The Bond of Faith" (Gregory XVII) elected October 26, 1958 and advent of the schismatic Novus Ordo (& their sspx) and sedevacantist antipapal sects of perdition.
*"And we beseech you, Brethren, by the coming of Our Lord Jesus Christ and of our gathering together unto Him: that you may not be easily moved from your sense, nor be terrified, neither by spirit, nor
by, word, nor by epistle as sent from us as if the day of the Lord were at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means, for unless there come a revolt first and the man of sin be revealed,
the son of perdition, who opposeth and is lifted above all that is called God, or that is worshipped, so that he sitteth in the Temple of God, shewing himself as if he were God." (II Thess., II:i-iv)
"The Church will be eclipsed. At first, we will not know which is the true pope. Then secondly, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will cease to be offered in churches and houses; it will be
such that, for a time, there will not be public services any more. But I see that the Holy Sacrifice has not really ceased: it will be offered in barns, in alcoves, in caves, and underground." (Abbot Combe: "The Secret
of Melanie and the Actual Crisis", Rome, 1906)
How to Prepare for and Make a Spiritual Communion
(By Fr. Dom Lorenzo Scupoli,
from his classic book, The Spiritual Combat)
"There is no problem, I tell you, no matter how difficult it is, that we can not resolve by the prayer of the Holy Rosary. With the Holy Rosary, we will save ourselves. We will sanctify ourselves. We will console Our Lord
and obtain the salvation of many souls." -Sr. Lucy (of Fatima) 12/26/57

"The tenth chapter of the Apocalypse comprises, according to Holzhauser, special revelations respecting the Mighty Monarch and the Enlightened Pope, as we may reasonably assume, that God would not leave the world without some indication as to these
great Renovators of an age apparently not very remote."
